This may be good for people who need things to be very simple, but otherwise I would recommend a more modular solution like the Sima SIP-3, which is smaller and lighter and easily accommodates three-prong plugs.
It worked fine, but there wasn't a US ground, so I could only use plugs without a ground.
I bought this adapter for a trip to Egypt. Next I used it with my hair dryer and it would not work at all and it hasn't worked since. It fit in the Egyptian outlet ok. I used it once to charge my camera batteries, it worked fine. For the price, it should work longer than one use. I would be very wary about purchasing this product.
there are several reviews that say this does work with three prong laptop plugs. I can't figure it out so can someone explain. I have a Mac and the plug doesn't seem to want to fit it.
I don't get some of the reviews that say it won't work with 3 prongs. I have used it with my 3 prong laptop plug / charger with NO problems in Asia and Europe. I think some people aren't using this thing right. Great product getting a bad rap by some that obviously aren't putting this thing in the wall right.
